Titanic Connection

Science Center Instructor Rose West Beery has ties to the Titanic.  Her father was on his way here from Belgiumwhen he sold his Titanic ticket to another man as he boarded a later ship.  Rose's family has been in contact with the man's family who bought the ticket and survived the Titanic accident.  Here is a photo of Rose (to the far right) with other surviving descendants, celebrating the 100 anniversary of the Titanic in Belgium, Rose was their guest for the event and she sang the last known song on the Titanic to a large crowd.
